About us

CHICHI Fening foundation is a family nonprofit organization established on 15th September 2022, in loving memory of Kwadwo Nyantakyi Fening.

Kwadwo Nyantakyi Fening was a final year student of the KNUST Medical school who had desired in writing in his diary, three (3) days before he was called to eternity to set up a foundation to support the needy sick after completing medical school.

The Foundation believes that different kind of health care system is possible in our society where the needy sick could benefit from some support regardless of the social standard.

Our uniqueness is that we are focused on building trust among our donors/partners who can always check how their donations are utilized.

Our Programs

Providing hope for the needy sick through prayer, visitation, food and clothing as well as financial support

We pray for the sick:

When we visit the hospital to pray for the sick, we enter with hearts brimming with compassion and faith. It's a sacred moment, a time to offer solace, hope, and spiritual support to those battling illness. As we step into these halls of healing, may our presence be a beacon of comfort for those in pain. Let us approach each bedside with empathy, offering words of encouragement, and lending our prayers for strength and recovery.

Provision of food

Providing food for the poor and needy is an act of compassion and solidarity, addressing the immediate and critical need for nourishment among vulnerable communities.This initiative aims to alleviate hunger and ensure that individuals facing economic hardships have access to nutritious meals. It involves distributing food supplies, organizing meal programs, or supporting food banks and shelters that cater to those in need.

Provision of Clothing

By extending a helping hand through clothing donations, we seek to empower individuals, boost their self-esteem, and contribute to their overall well-being.It's a way of showing care and empathy, acknowledging the importance of clothing not just as a basic need but also as a means of fostering confidence and a sense of belonging. This compassionate effort aims to offer dignity, warmth, and protection from the elements. It involves collecting, donating, or distributing clothing.

Provision of financial support

Providing financial support to those who are sick and in need is a crucial aspect of social welfare. This support aims to assist individuals who are facing health challenges and may be experiencing financial strain due to medical expenses, inability to work, or other related circumstances. Access to health insurance or specific medical assistance programs can significantly alleviate the financial burden on sick individuals by covering medical bills, treatments, and hospital expenses.
